Examinations
There will be three (3) exams during the semester. Exams are not cumulative Calculators are allowed. Exams may include true/false, multiple choice, short answer questions, and problems based on the concepts presented in the text, lectures, and case discussions.
Exams will be returned for review and then collected immediately after the review.
Missed exams will be given a grade of ZERO. Exceptions require ADVANCE notification, documentation and the approval of the professor. A student missing the final exam will be given a failing grade for the course.
Before each exam, a study guide will be given and discussed during the previous class of the exam.

Attendance
Attendance is defined as physical AND mental attendance. Students who disconnect mentally by engaging in other unrelated activities or leave lecture sessions early may lose their attendance extra credit for that day. According to your attendance the following extra credit will be added to YOUR final exam: PERFECT attendance, no days missed = 10 points; ONE (and only one) absence = 7 points; TWO (and only two) = 5 points; those that just sign the attendance log and then leave class shall be marked absent. Do NOT forget to sign the attendance log. Once your unsigned field receives the “blank mark” you are officially counted absent for that day! Since attendance is extra credit, I do NOT accept ANY excuses! Documented evidence for exceptional cases such as illness will be considered.
